Nikki Roberts was an early, and much-loved member of Sisu who we sadly lost to Covid-19 in November 2020. Nikki is always remembered for her social activities in and around Ripley where she lived and seemed to know everybody wherever she went on her distinctive mobility scooter. The main thing about Nikki was she never gave up, even on her bad days, she would wince in pain, then thrust a coffee cup for refilling at you with a twinkle in her eye. Whatever she did, she set out to achieve, and most often than not, she succeeded.
We thought it only apt, as lasting memory to Nikki, we should set-up an annual community achievement award in her name. Nominations can come from absolutely anybody and we want to hear about people that have gone above and beyond and created a massive achievement within the community, it doesn’t have to be the most money raised or the most miles walked/ran/cycled swam etc, but who, in your opinion, has achieved the most.
